Located at the old Highland Lumber building is our 501c3 non-profit Parkers Platoon that is open to the public. It is an Incredible place to encounter and chat with our Veterans and retired Pro Athletes while we attempt to foster their WARrior spirit and their transition together. Our place brings a "TEAM ROOM" atmosphere and concept to our Veterans as they miss the camaraderie of their fallen brothers. Inside is a cool lil Barbershop with Master Barber Dj Parker donating the proceeds from your haircut to the charity. Cawfee can be purchased and those proceeds go to the charity as well- we will be open daily. Proceeds from the sale of items in their "Destined for Grace" Upscale Thrift Boutique selling unique items- furniture, vintage, antiques, hockey memorabilia, hockey sticks, Harley Davidson collectors and many more items benefit Parkers 501c3 charity "Parkers Platoon" who's office is located inside this location. What's truly unique and special is that we have seats available for purchase for "Sunday Italian dinner" at Scott Parkers private family table. What an experience to sit at that beautiful table- its a throwback to the Italian mafia style table .... We will be serving family style spaghetti and meatbrawls or lasagna with salad, homemade bread, and dessert with coffee and tea. Price per plate will vary weekly depending on the menu. Wine by the glass is available as well. There's 7 seats available for purchase each Sunday so if your lucky enough to reserve a seat at the "Goombah" table its will give you insight and understanding to a Veterans struggles because you will be paying for and sitting next to a Veteran. The stories are epic and the bantering between Parker and his teammates (who show up unexpectedly) and his Parkers Platoon Vets like Ret wounded Commander Pete Scobell, SF Green Beret Tu Lam from Ronin tactics, and many others make dinner an unbelievable, epic & heartwarming encounter. Call the clubhouse at 303-660-5166 and see if you can reserve a seat at the table as seats sell fast. We are excited to be in Grand County and appreciate everyones support. Our new website will be up shortly with specifics about all we do to help veterans, events and activities. Visit our site often as things are always changing as we add exciting new ideas to our charity's mission. ** SPECIAL GUEST and Parkers Platoon Veteran Former Navy Seal Pete Scobell will be performing LIVE at the Bistro. Heres his story:

Years before meeting Wynonna Judd and Cactus Moser to cut a country album, Pete Scobell paid the bills as a Navy SEAL and a professional athlete. Two traumatizing head injuries and a solid dose of music therapy later, Scobell was well on his way down the road to recovery. This ultimately led to Nashville and the music industry after meeting Judd and Moser through the makers of The Hornet's Nest, a 2014 Afghanistan war documentary. The indirect result of that meeting was the country single "Hearts I Leave Behind" featuring Wynonna Judd, and ultimately Walkin a Wire, Pete Scobell Band's debut album, which hit stores last year. With 12 tracks written mostly by Nashville's top songwriters, the result is a road trip-worthy record that revs its engine with feel-good soul before shifting into desert country, billowing dust and smoke from a tailpipe of rodeo rockers like "The Fight" and "Ain't Gonna Waste It."

The album was recorded in Nashville at RCA Studio A with Moser as producer and musicians from Wynonna's backing band, the Big Noise. But Scobell isn't just a man with a band. "I didn't just wake up one morning and decide I want to be a musician," he explains. "It's something I've done my whole life. My mom was a music teacher. She died when I was 10 months old, and she left all her instruments. That's how I learned how to play. I was always trying to feel closer to her." Petes CD's will be available for sale with the proceeds benefitting Parkers Platoon.
